Who I am
Welcome! My name is Jesenia Montanez, first name pronounced “Ja-sen-ee-ah”, but you may call me Jessie. I’m a busy Latina that has been blessed with an amazing husband, 3 awesome children and a wonderful step-son. My oldest is 17 and my youngest is a very energetic preschooler. We currently reside in Central PA in the beautiful Amish countryside. Around here we love to laugh and not take each other too seriously. Faith and family are the center of our home. I’m Puerto Rican and Dominican, but born here in the U.S. I’m also a book nerd, coffee addict, thrift store shopper and organizing junkie.
What I write
The Latina Homemaker is where I share my homemaking tips, frugal living advice, recipes, travel adventures and everything in between. I can teach you how to make a delicious Latin fritter or give you tips on how to make the most of your time. My goal is to help busy moms find time to create memories with their family, while juggling the home. I know how busy this journey can be, but always remember: “Family over laundry”.
