I can’t believe that Christmas is less than 7 weeks away! Each year, I make an effort to get a head start on holiday preparations so that I’m not caught off guard. I much rather spend the holidays with my family creating (and eating!) delicious treats and watching Christmas movies. Every year, there are a handful of goodies that I have to make for my kids. If I don’t, they make sure to remind me that I’m lacking in the kitchen department.

Now I’m all about keeping things easy and inexpensive. Holiday treats are fun to make and even better to eat, but they can also add up. I also can’t afford to spend hours slaving over a batch of cookies that my kids will devour in a matter of minutes. So today’s recipe is a simple, yet tasty treat that you can put together very easily. It only requires a handful of ingredients and zero baking. Easy to make and budget-friendly? If you ask me, it’s a busy mother’s dream.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Fluff Crackers. An easy and inexpensive recipe that is perfect for the holiday season. Also makes a great food gift!

Take a spoonful of peanut butter and spread on a RITZ cracker, set aside. Do the same with the Jet-Puffed marshmallow creme on a separate cracker. Next, sandwich together both RITZ crackers and place on a cookie sheet. Repeat, until all crackers are used.

Melt Baker’s semi-sweet chocolate in a microwave safe bowl by following the package instructions. Use a fork or a stick (my preferred method) to dip the cracker sandwich into the melted chocolate.

Place on wax paper and refrigerate until the chocolate hardens. Next, melt Baker’s white chocolate following package instructions and drizzle all over the crackers.

Place crackers in the refrigerator for approximately 20-30 minutes. Once the chocolate has hardened, serve and enjoy! This recipe will yield one dozen cracker sandwiches.

This is probably one of the easiest holiday recipes you’ll ever make. They also make a great holiday gift which is how I discovered them. They were gifted to me by one of my husband’s co-workers. Needless to say it was love at first bite. 😉

I picked up all of the ingredients mentioned at my local Walmart. Currently Kraft has several items available at the Walmart Bake Center to help moms create easy and budget friendly holiday recipes.

Can they be made ahead of time and frozen or stored in the frig?

    • Jesenia Montanez says:

Hi Joyce! I’ve personally never put them in the freezer, but they definitely can be refrigerated!

  2. Phyllis Feaster says:

For the melted chocolate and peanuts you make clusters. Just spoon on wax paper or foil. let set and enjoy.

Thanks for sharing Phyllis! Sounds yummy, I’ll have to try them!

This looks great. Another easy treat is to use the lance peanut butter snack crackers and dip them in the melted chocolate. Also using the melted chocolate and salted roasted peanuts makes another great treat.

I have bern making something similar for 30 years, minus the marshmallow cream and the extra chocolate drizzle. Yours are very prettty. It’s one of our favorite holiday treats.

    • Jesenia Montanez says:

Wow Kathy! Can you believe I only discovered these last year? It was a Christmas gift and I was hooked. Thanks for sharing your version and for stopping by! 🙂
