Must Have Apps For Busy Moms . A list of my top 7 apps for busy moms!

From homeschooling to running a business, each day I face a new challenge to get my long to-do list done. Did I mention I also have a very active 9 month old baby? This past weekend I purchased my first tablet to help me in this very busy season. I’m excited because it enables me to keep all of my favorite apps organized in one place. I currently have some on my cellphone and others on my laptop which can be tricky when I’m on the go. Oh and you know what’s pretty awesome?! My tablet comes with tmobile free data for life! A huge bonus for this frugal momma.

Here’s yours truly tablet shopping. Notice the curly hair? I’ve been trying to enjoy my naturally curly hair and lay off the styling tools for a bit.

In case you’re wondering, I purchased the T-Mobile Trio AXS Tablet for only $179. For the life of the tablet I’ll get 200MB of free data every month! Perfect for the days that I’m waiting at my son’s football practice and need to access my email. He’s #61 in this picture. Can you tell I’m a proud momma?

There are several apps that help me stay organized and on task throughout my busy day of homeschooling and work. Here are some of my favorite apps that are perfect for all busy moms.

Must Have Apps For Busy Moms

1. Evernote

Evernote is an app that allows you to clip articles, create short lists, snap photos and more. In my opinion it is one of the best note taking apps out there. Although it has a paid version, the free one has plenty of great features.

2. Dropbox

Dropbox is a file hosting service that allows you to save photos, documents and videos. What I love about this app, is that I can access my files from any device. I can also share my files easily which is a plus for my business.

3. Time Management

Time Management (Caynax) is a great app that allows you to use a stopwatch and timer to manage various tasks. You can allot a specific amount of time for each task and even split it into several parts. I can use it when doing specific blogging tasks and set the time so that I don’t spend more time on it than I should.

4. YNAB-You Need A Budget

YNAB, also known as You Need A Budget, is one of the best budgeting apps I’ve found. What I love about this app is that it forces you to be hands on with your budget unlike some other well known apps that streamline the process. This is also a great app for those that follow the envelope system. You can set up categories and how much you want to budget for each one.

5. Favado

Favado is the only grocery app that I look at when I don’t have a lot of time to mess around with the wide range of grocery apps that are out there. Favado does an excellent job of matching grocery deals and coupons to maximize savings. They have several stores in their database and I was surprised to even find some smaller stores that I shop at.

6. Cozi

Cozi enables you to manage your entire family’s schedule in one place. You can also share it with other family members and set up reminders for important appointments. Cozi also enables you to set up shopping lists, to-do lists and much more. Bonus-you can also import your Google calendar.

7. Snapseed

Snapseed is my favorite photography app. With Snapseed you can tweak your photos and make them look like high-quality shots. You can also play around with different filters, add borders and even share directly from the app. If you like to take lots of photos of your family then this app is for you.
