Spaghetti with San Marzano Tomato Meat Sauce

A delicious spaghetti and tomato meat sauce recipe that is both satisfying and easy to make! This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Barilla. The opinions and text are all mine.

Typically we spend Mother’s Day visiting both my mom and my mother-in-law. Growing up in Latino homes it’s not uncommon for our moms to make a big family meal on special occasions. This is also the case on Mother’s Day. Sadly, this past Mother’s Day we were away from our moms since we took a family trip to Florida. I was also missing my oldest daughter since she was gone on a missions trip to Guatemala. Instead I spent it with the boys and this little lady.

We ate lots of delicious food, but none it compared to our mothers’ homemade meals. Now that we are back, I look forward to gathering with our families for a belated Mother’s Day celebration that will include delicious food. We did get started a little early by making one of our favorite meals this past weekend; spaghetti with meat sauce. It’s a simple meal that can be put together in less than 20 minutes. It’s also kid-friendly and fairly inexpensive which is a bonus. Nothing is better than a homemade meal with familia, and I’m glad I was able to enjoy both this past weekend.
