31 Days To A Clutter Free Life Day 1: Ground Rules

Today is the first day of the 31 Days To A Clutter Free Life Challenge! I’m pumped for this challenge and ready to dive in.

For Day 1, Ruth of Living Well Spending Less lays out the ground rules:

  • Everything must have a home.
  • Everything must have a purpose.
  • Everything must be in good working order.
  • Everything must have a label.
  • If it needs to go, get it out FAST!

You must also prepare and ensure that you are ready for the month ahead. According to Ruth, this means preparing your mind, family, schedule, supplies and space. I have an arsenal of boxes, trash bags, sharpies and scheduled a block of time each day to get going. Mentally I’m ready to go. I LOVE de-cluttering so I’m looking forward to each daily assignment. I also signed the challenge rules printable to hold myself accountable and put it up on my fridge as a reminder (told y’all I was serious!).
