I recently shared a Valentine’s Day Basket idea that the entire family can enjoy. Since Valentine’s Day is less than a week away, I wanted to share a simple gift idea. These Valentine’s Day mason jar gifts only require a few key items: a mason jar, washi tape, twine and Hershey’s chocolates. Easy peasy, and perfect for us busy moms.
Once you have these items, print out the gift tags, cut with scissors, and punch one hole through the top of the gift tag. Use the twine to wrap around the mason jar with the attached gift tag. I also used washi tape to cover the side of the lid and add an extra pop of color.
I filled one mason jar with Hershey’s Kisses Conversation Candies (available exclusively at Target!). The other two mason jars are filled with Kit Kat and Hershey’s Caramel filled Hearts.
These are great to give to a spouse, family or even friends. Plus they look super cute without the complicated steps.

If you really want to spoil your loved ones, make them this decadent Chocolate Peanut Butter Parfait. It’s the perfect dessert to wrap up a Valentine’s Day dinner. I like to serve it in a wine glass for an extra fancy effect. 😉
Chocolate Peanut Butter Parfait
Ingredients:
4 ounces of cream cheese
3/4 cup of creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup of powdered sugar
1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream
Chopped brownie (I used a box mix)
Whipped cream:
1 cup of heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons of sugar
Directions:
1. Place cream cheese and peanut butter in a bowl and blend well with a mixer. Add powdered sugar and heavy whipping cream, mix on high speed until smooth.
2. For whipped cream, whisk heavy whipping cream and sugar together until peaks form. The secret is to whisk it for a few minutes plus use a bowl and whisk that is cold (place in the refrigerator for several minutes).
3. Layer glass with chopped brownie, peanut butter mixture, whipped cream and repeat. I topped it off with a Reese’s Conversation Cup.
