I was provided with complimentary accommodations, admissions, and meals to facilitate my review. However, all opinions are 100% my own.
I recently shared about my weekend visit to Hershey, along with all of the fun things this sweet town has to offer. So today I want to share more details about the accommodation options, and the benefits of staying at an official Hersheypark Resort.
During my visit, I stayed at The Hotel Hershey which is located on a hill overlooking the town. The location truly adds to the splendor as you’re pulling up to the hotel.
This historic hotel has 276 guests rooms and 48 cottages to accommodate families, couples or business travelers. I stayed in a King Guest Room, and as you’ll see in the video below, the guest room stays true to the hotel’s rich history.
You probably saw some of the photos I posted on Instagram, but I can truly say they don’t do this hotel justice.
The corridors, lighting fixtures and common areas, are simply stunning. My favorite was the fountain outside the Iberian Lounge.

Another option is the Hershey Lodge. The hotel offers a warm welcoming atmosphere, along with tons of amenities for the entire family.
On Memorial Day weekend, the resort will open the doors to Hershey’s Water Works which will feature 30,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor fun. From a zero entry pool to Twizzlers Twists water slides, your family won’t run out of things to do. I was able to take a tour during my stay, but I can’t wait to visit once it’s completed and open to the public.
How cute is the Kids’ Check-In area at the Hershey Lodge?! The hotel also offers several dining options including The Bears’ Den. This restaurant has a hockey-rink theme which is modeled after the hometown team, the Hershey Bears. The Hershey Lodge is also home to one of my favorites restaurants, Hershey Grill. This is where I had the S’mores French Toast I bragged about. This fireplace and seating area welcomes guests as they check-in at the resort.
The four-sided fireplace at the Hershey Lodge is beautiful! @thesweetestplaceonearth #HersheyPA #travel #travelgram #instatravel #hersheylodge

Last, but not least, is the Hersheypark Camping Resort. This resort offers tent sites, and pull-through RV sites with either partial or full hook-ups. If staying outdoors is not your style, you can also reserve one of the log cabins.
My favorite is the deluxe cabin, which offers a kitchenette along with a bathroom inside the cabin. This is my type of camping. 😉
The campground also has fire rings, picnic tables, swimming pools, a basketball court, playgrounds and more. I was pleasantly surprised with how many recreational options the campground offers.
Not only do these resorts offer great accommodations and amenities, you’ll also have access to these FREE benefits for staying at an official Hersheypark resort:
- One hour early access to select rides at Hersheypark
- Best prices on Hersheypark tickets
- Complimentary shuttle service to Hersheypark
- Special family activities at the resorts
- Access to three award-winning golf courses
- And more!
Have you ever visited Hersheypark? Thinking about it? I’d love to hear from you!
