I’m super excited to have my husband guest posting here today. He recently had the opportunity to test drive the 2015 Mazda MX-5 Miata and he’s sharing his experience. Needless to say he had a good old time. 🙂
My husband was provided with a 2015 Mazda MX-5 to test drive and help facilitate this review. All opinions expressed are 100% his own.
I was fortunate enough to relive my youth for a full week while driving a really cool 2015 Mazda MX-5 Miata in a Meteor Gray color. As a teen, I drove a sports car and loved every minute of it. The feeling of coolness that a teen boy feels when he’s cruising down the street in a sweet ride is indescribable. Bet you’ll never guess who was awesome and cool again? Yep, this guy right here. Even if only for a week.
I drove the Mazda MX-5 all week as my daily commuter car and also to run some errands. This car made running to the grocery for my wife pretty fun. When it’s 20 degrees outside and you have seven bags of groceries in your hands the last thing you want to worry about is fumbling keys.
That wasn’t a worry of mine with the trunk unlatch option on the key chain, the trunk was open before I even reached the car. By the way I’m almost certain the seven bags in your hands at a time has to be a guy thing.
In anticipation of spring being right around the corner I had to drop the top. We had a fairly nice day during the week, right around 50 degrees and I couldn’t resist. Especially since it’s by far the coolest option on the car, and it’s easy to operate. By the way, this Mazda MX-5 had a hardtop.
Literally, all you do is unlatch the roof and press a button and the hardtop completely disappears. I was definitely the coolest guy in town for about eight minutes.
The Mazda MX-5 was exactly what I needed to get me through the end of a snowy, bitterly cold winter. With its combination of great looks, power, and amazing handling, this car is exactly what the doctor ordered for me to get rid of this “I’m sick of the winter” bug.
The 2015 Mazda MX-5 Miata PRHT has a starting price of $28,665. Check out your local Mazda dealer for more details and to take one for a spin.
So fun to read a post from your hubby – sounds like he has a blast!
Warm Regards,
Alexandra
