**This a re-post from my old blog that I thought was worthy of salvaging**
So I noticed the other day that the drawer to my nightstand was a bit “overstuffed”. I knew it was bad when it continued to get stuck and would only open about two inches. The main culprit of my drawer issue was several magazines I’ve kept. I tossed out several a few months ago, but I honestly think I’m a magazine hoarder. I’ve received most of them through free subscriptions, but if I find a good article I tend to hang on to them. So when I woke up this morning I was determined to tackle it and whip it back to its pre-magazine state. So to solve this problem, I decided to condense my magazines into what I call my magazine binder.
How To Organize Your Magazines
First I cut out the articles I wanted to hang on to and sorted them by categories such as organizing tips (ha! the irony), recipes, home decor and miscellaneous.
Next I used a three hole puncher so that I could place the articles in a binder.
The finished product! So much better now.
My new and much more compact magazine binder. If you don’t like binders or don’t have enough magazine articles to fill a binder, you could also use folders that have pockets to place your articles in.
I would love hear what you do with your magazines. Please share your tips!

I take out all the recipes I like and put them in page protectors then in a binder, and that is my new cookbook. I have run out of page protectors though, and need to get some new ones. This is my favorite cookbook.
That’s a great idea Rena! Thanks for sharing. 🙂
That’s very neat! I need to start organizing my magazines like this
Thanks! 🙂
