Last-Minute Christmas Gift Ideas (They’ll Actually Like!)

This is a sponsored post written by me in collaboration with JCPenney. All ideas and opinions are my own. #JCPchallenge #JacquesPenne

Can you believe Christmas is right around the corner?! Over the years, I’ve learned to plan ahead and start my shopping early. But this doesn’t mean that I don’t wind up running around like a mad woman trying to buy things that I somehow forgot to add to my list. It wouldn’t be the holiday season without a little chaos, right?

This year I kept things fairly simple on the gift-giving end. However, I still had a few items to cross off my list, so I headed to JCPenney this past week to wrap up my Christmas shopping. I decided to take the #JCPchallenge to see if I could spend less on gifts and beat my holiday budget. I love that JCPenney offers style and affordable quality at a great everyday value – a must for this frugal mama!

When I shop for others I really try to think of the things they enjoy. I’m all for on-trend gifts that are also practical. Like this Liz Claiborne Charging Key Chain which is great for a quick charge, but also cute and trendy. I also snagged it for a third of the retail price. Woot!

My son has been begging us for a watch for months now. Maybe it’s a teenage boy thing, but every time we step into a store he points out all of the “cool watches” he likes. This U.S. Polo Assn. Men’s watch is another trendy, yet practical gift that makes a great gift for teen boys or men. I can’t wait to see his face when he unwraps it on Christmas morning.

If you personally know me, then you know that I LOVE notebooks. I don’t mind going digital for my to-do lists, but nothing beats writing on a brand new page. I like to use notebooks to write down goals and personal notes that I want to preserve beyond my daily lists. I found these fun Mixit notebooks at JCPenney for 50% off! I grabbed one for myself and one for my daughter.

Men are super hard to shop for, but I found that I can never go wrong with comfy gear. Slippers, soft tees, and jogger pants are always a good choice. I found these French terry jogger pants for an amazing price at JCPenney. In fact, I have plans to go back and grab some more!

You can find several of the items I featured in JCPenney’s holiday boutique, Jacques Penné. The boutique is made up of nine specially-curated and shoppable collections: Shine Bright, Tech Yes, Be Well, So Cozy, Oh What Fun, Jingle and Mingle, Making Spirits Brights, Merry and Bright and Holiday Challenge featuring picks from Nicole Richie. The Jacques Penné Holiday Boutique will live as a virtual online store at JacquesPenneJCP.com from 12/7 to 1/7 so you can also experience the pop-up!

I saved 50% (or more) on the items I just shared and my total was well under my budget. I’m all about saving money and JCPenney never disappoints. This gifting season, take the holiday challenge at JCPenney and beat your holiday budget. Get all you want for less than you think from hot trending items and holiday must-haves to unexpected finds—all available in-store or online at a great value.

Are you done with your holiday shopping? Still working on it? I’d love to hear from you!
