Hi. My name is Jesenia, and I’m a podcast addict. Nope, I’m not even kidding. The obsession is very real. I discovered podcasts several years ago, and I’ve listened to countless episodes and counting. I don’t stick to any specific categories, and I subscribe to podcasts that range from homeschooling to business. Today, however, I want to share my current top 3 podcasts. These are the podcasts I listen to religiously, and get excited about when a new episode is published.
My Top 3 Favorite Podcasts
The Simple Show by Tsh Oxenreider
If I had to pick one podcast from all of the podcasts I listen to, this one would be it. Tsh has an amazing blog called The Art of Simple that I highly recommend. She’s a fan of simple living, and her podcast is an extension of that. Tsh’s guests discuss how they engage fully with their life’s purpose.
Some of my favorite episodes:
Episode 21: Neighbor’s Table with Sarah Harmeyer
Episode 24: Life in Cambodia with Maria Taviano
Episode 28: Fighting ISIS with Soap
What Should I Read Next? with Anne Bogel
A podcast for book nerds? Yes, please! Each week, Anne Bogel of the Modern Mrs. Darcy blog, interviews a reader about the books they love, and hate. She uses this information to make recommendations about what they should read next. I’ve discovered some great books through this podcast, and I look forward to each new episode.
Some of my favorite episodes:
Episode 4: Reading as escape, hating lots of books, and finding new fiction with author Seth Haines
Episode 9: The reality of bookworm problems with Leigh Kramer
Episode 10: You can be a Serious Reader and still love Matt Damon with Janssen Bradshaw
Episode 18: Compelling, character-driven books steeped in time and place with Jessica Turner
Enjoying Life On a Budget with Mark and Lauren Greutman
I came across this podcast through Lauren’s blog, I Am That Lady. I love that the podcast features a variety of guests that share their financial successes and tips. The podcast is a great extension to Lauren’s financial blog, but the episodes offer enough great content to stand out on their own.
Some of my favorite episodes:
Episode 052: A Cheap Way to get Healthcare Coverage
Episode 059: How One Couple Moved to the Hood to Pay off $120,000 of Debt!
Episode 060: From Bankruptcy to Debt-Free in 9 Months
Episode 068: Why Moms should be the Finance Rockstars of the Family: An Interview with Kimberly Palmer
Do you listen to podcasts? What are some of your favorites? I’d love to hear your suggestions!
Thanks so much for including What Should I Read Next!
Sure thing! I look forward to it every week. 🙂
