7-Day Purge Challenge

7-Day Purge Challenge. A seven day purging challenge to help you free up space in your home and embrace a clutter free life.

Although I’m constantly purging and getting rid of things, I find that it’s never enough. Maybe I’m a bit obsessive when it comes to decluttering. I loathe clutter, and I can’t focus if a space is filled with stuff. Even my decor and furniture selections are what some would consider a minimalist style. I wasn’t always this way. In fact, I used to buy into the hype that filling up every inch my home was the thing to do. But instead I found myself frustrated with trying to keep up with everything. I was constantly painting, moving furniture around and redecorating rooms. Having more stuff was simply fueling my discontentment.

Fast forward to today, and I’m practically opposite in my way of thinking. I am perfectly OK with having bare walls in our home, and I don’t care about the latest trends. I actually prefer a minimalist approach when it comes to decorating. With that said, it doesn’t mean that my home is immune to clutter. I quickly realized that it’s not a one-time task, and that if I want to keep spaces cleared, I have to declutter regularly.

7-Day Purge Challenge. A seven day purging challenge to help you free up space in your home and embrace a clutter free life.

So I want to invite you to join me in a 7-day purge challenge that will begin next week. I’m keeping it simple and to the point. I’ll also be focusing on the main living spaces, so you can enjoy the fruits of your labor immediately. I plan to scope throughout the challenge, so make sure to join me on Periscope so you don’t miss the live streams.

I know 7 days may not be enough for some of you, but I purposely wanted to keep this challenge short. Why? Because once you being to purge and experience the freedom from living a clutter-free life, you’ll want to continue tackling other spaces in your home. There’s no complicated science behind decluttering, and once you make it a habit, it becomes second nature.

Plan to join me? I would love to hear what some of your problem areas are, and what you hope to accomplish from the challenge.

  1. Oh yes! I’ve been meaning to get back to doing this, just haven’t yet! Today is a desk clearing off day, and then I will definitely join you for the challenge next week! Plus, if all goes to plan, we will be moving in about two months or so, and it would be nice to have a head start on getting things pared down! 😀
