Hershey Park With My Favorite Peeps

This past Monday I spent the day with my family enjoying (and screaming) on rides. My parents, my brother along with his wife and kids, plus my family spent the day at Hershey Park. We had the perfect weather that day; low humidity, low 80s with a nice warm breeze. I was thrilled because amusement parks equals lots of walking, and walking in hot weather is not my thing.

Some of the highlights were; watching my baby girl ride her first amusement park ride, eating funnel cake, dinner at a local restaurant (I can’t remember the last time we were all out together!) and riding Skyrush for the first time (a must try!). Here are a few photos from our fun filled day. I wish I had taken more, but I was busy enjoying our time together. 🙂

You see the candy canes? Hershey Park was celebrating Christmas in July so all day we got to listen to Christmas music and the park was decked out with Christmas lights.

This is called Peppermint Chaos and was one of those treats they sold in celebration of Christmas in July. The chocolate sauce is York Peppermint Patty flavor. Soooo good, but I shared it and kept my portion to a minimum. 😉

What are some fun things you’re doing with your family this summer? Do you enjoy roller coasters? I LOVE them, but ironically get sick on smaller rides like the carousel.
