Just a quick reminder in case you missed the initial post; I’m currently doing a 30 day purge challenge where I choose five items each day that I have to donate, sell or trash. Yesterday, I shared on Facebook the five items that I purged and what I did with them. In case you missed it, check out yesterday’s post to find out what they were. I can already tell this will be harder than I expected. Not because I don’t have enough items to purge, because that I certainly do. Even with all of my de-cluttering efforts, I’m sure there’s plenty of stuff that I’ll be happy to give up. The problem I’m having is trying to figure what to get rid of. I’m used to tackling a space and going on a purging spree. But since I’ve set a five item daily limit for myself, I’m having a hard time sticking to that limit. The purpose for this is so that I make it a habit and it’s not just a spur of the moment thing. I’m forcing myself to go slow and take my time with the process.
Today’s items are rather boring, but should have been gone a long time ago!
Three board games, an old mobile phone and an Apple TV box. I’m donating two of the board games and pitching the other one since it’s missing tons of pieces. The mobile phone is broken since my husband used it until it fell apart, so it won’t get donated. The Apple TV will be sold online. I bought it a few years ago and I’ve barely used it.
Did you get rid of five items today? If you’re following along, I would love to hear about your progress!
