I don’t know about you, but for me it’s super hard to come up with lunch options for the kids. For one, my kids can be picky at times and although I don’t like to cater to their wants, I do want them to enjoy what they’re eating. The other issue that I have is coming up with easy to make lunch ideas. So when I find an easy and healthy recipe that they actually enjoy, I do the happy mommy dance. The recipe I’m sharing with you today is delicious and super easy to make. The kids can even put it together if needed. Win-win.
I’m a huge fans of wraps and salads, so when I combine the two is like a match made in food heaven. This wrap has some of my favorite ingredients including raisins. I always have a tub of raisins at home that I eat alone or mixed in with nuts or candies for a yummy treat. California Raisins are naturally sweet, have zero fat, no added sugar, provide 9% of your daily fiber and potassium, and 6% of your daily iron. It’s one of the best healthy snacks to have around.
Easy And Healthy Chicken Salad Wrap
4-5 Wheat Wraps
3 cups-Grilled Chicken
3/4 cup-Golden Apples (cut into thin cubes)
1/2 cup-Chopped Pecans
Salt and pepper
