As a busy mom, I know it’s not always easy to find time to take care of ourselves. But I made a goal this year to focus more on my health and taking care of my body. Comfortable workout gear

I know it’s tempting to throw on an old pair of sweatpants or sneakers to workout, but don’t do it. Wearing comfortable sweat-resistant workout gear can help prevent chafing and can help keep you cool longer. A good pair of comfortable fitness shoes are also a must to help prevent injuries. I also find that the proper gear puts me in a workout mindset. Exercising is not easy, so don’t complicate things by wearing clothes that are uncomfortable.

Water bottle

Not just any water bottle. You’ll need a water bottle that will help keep you hydrated and last through your entire workout. Don’t throw off a workout because you have to stop to refill several times. Instead, invest in a larger insulated water bottle that will last for the entire length of your exercise routine.

A music playlist

A great music playlist can help you get going. Create a playlist that energizes you and perks you up. I find that fast-paced music gets me going when I’m doing cardio. However, I like slower-paced music when I’m stretching or doing a light workout. I also find that a good playlist helps my workouts feel shorter.

Personal care products

If you’re doing any type of physical activity, you’re going to sweat. Period. So ensure that you’re keeping your body fresh with personal hygiene products that include deodorant and facial wipes.
